HOW WE SUPPORT LEARNING
🌱 Child-Centered Learning
We recognize that every child has their own pace, interests, and talents. We design experiences that build on children’s natural curiosity and foster autonomy and confidence. Everyone learns differently and has their own pace, interests, and talents. At Fernspring, we design learning experiences that build on children’s natural curiosity and respect individual developmental processes. We support each child so they can develop self-confidence, discover their abilities, and become the protagonists of their own learning.
🔍 Exploration and Experiential Learning
We believe that learning happens when children can experiment, investigate, build, play, and ask questions. Through projects and real-world experiences, children discover concepts in a meaningful way and develop creativity, critical thinking, and autonomy.
🌿 Nature as a living classroom
Nature is a living space for learning. Inspired by the forest school approach, we promote daily contact with the natural environment as a fundamental part of the educational process. Exploring the forest, observing nature’s cycles, and living in harmony with the environment allow children to develop a deep sense of care for the world they inhabit.
But it’s not just about.
“Curiosity cannot be directed; it must be nurtured. Creativity cannot be taught; it must be cultivated. Independence cannot be demanded; it must be developed.”
We do not seek to educate students who merely pass exams. We seek to educate individuals with purpose, judgment, and commitment.
Fernspring is a community of families who share clear values: respect for children, a love of learning, and consistency between home and school.
